Completed Commercial Projects

We will be putting a small addition on the back of the building along with creating a mini-mart inside.

We are installing the grease trap in the kitchen

The Address is 4927 Main Street in Skokie.

We will be starting the build out of the Hollywood Trendz Hair & Spa at their new location in Shalimar Plaza in Addison.

The solar system should roughly produce 200 gallons of hot water per day or 80,000 gallons per year.  Since animal rescue facilities use so much hot water this will help with saving heating costs.

We are bringing the water lines from the City main to each of the store fronts.

A utility vault is an underground room providing access to the water line and valves that are connected to the City main line

The PVC for the bathroom, pedicure chairs and laundry room are done

We have installed EIFS ( Exterior Insulation and Finish System) on the exterior of the facade and gave it a stucco like texture.  Next step will be to install the metal roof.

We installed new Pella Impervia line fiberglass commercial windows.  We are ready to start the stucco.

A ceiling grid is being installed and then a wire mesh will be zip tied to the grid to keep the cat’s in their catios.

We are wrapping the exterior of the facade with densglass fiberglass mat sheeting and will then put two layers of tyvek wrap to protect the exterior walls.

We have started to frame the walls for the new enclosed 2nd floor walkway.

The concrete floor in the dog kennels will slope to the trench drains to make cleaning very easy.

The catios are the rooms where the cats will be kept until they are adopted.

The demolition has started and the framing materials are being delivered for the new facade at 969 Elmhurst.

The old fire spray is falling off the joists so we are removing it all and will spray new cementitious fireproofing.

The concrete pad has been poured in the mechanical room for the water heaters and the concrete pad for the dog kennels are done.

The taping and mudding has been done and we can prime the new walls.

There has been additional insulation added between some of the walls for sound proofing.

We will be starting a new project to change the facade of this building to enclose the 2nd floor walk way in the next couple of weeks.

We have put up the concrete forms and have laid all of the rebar and are ready to have the concrete trucks line up tomorrow.

The grade beam is a reinforced concrete beam that sits on the caissons to spread the load of the building.  This footing gives the grade beam something level to sit on.
