Highland Park is a suburban city located in the southeastern section of Lake County, Illinois. Located on the North Shore of the Chicago metropolitan area, Highland Park features a 100-foot-high bluff which runs for 6 miles along the Lake Michigan shoreline. Highland Park has three public beaches, the North Shore Yacht Club, a downtown shopping district, and the Ravinia Festival.
