We have installed EIFS ( Exterior Insulation and Finish System) on the exterior of the facade and gave it a stucco like texture.  Next step will be to install the metal roof.

We poured the concrete sidewalks and patio slab.

We installed new Pella Impervia line fiberglass commercial windows.  We are ready to start the stucco.

We have to bring a new water line in from the City main to the house for the addition.

We are putting down the stone and wire mesh to prep the patio slab prior to pouring the concrete along with prepping the sidewalks.

The sub floor has been built on top of the foundation wall and the wall and roof framing can begin.

There is a thick layer of stone followed by the plastic and then a wire mesh on top.  This is the base for the concrete slab.

The forms are being removed on the foundation walls and the exterior walls are being damp proofed.

A ceiling grid is being installed and then a wire mesh will be zip tied to the grid to keep the cat’s in their catios.

The forms have been set and we are ready to pour the concrete for the foundation walls at Kilbourn.

We are wrapping the exterior of the facade with densglass fiberglass mat sheeting and will then put two layers of tyvek wrap to protect the exterior walls.

We have poured the footings for the crawlspace addition and have covered the footings with blankets to protect it from the elements.

We have started to frame the walls for the new enclosed 2nd floor walkway.

The concrete floor in the dog kennels will slope to the trench drains to make cleaning very easy.

The catios are the rooms where the cats will be kept until they are adopted.

We have completed the interior demolition and are now ready to start framing the interior.

The demolition has started and the framing materials are being delivered for the new facade at 969 Elmhurst.

The old fire spray is falling off the joists so we are removing it all and will spray new cementitious fireproofing.

The concrete pad has been poured in the mechanical room for the water heaters and the concrete pad for the dog kennels are done.

The taping and mudding has been done and we can prime the new walls.

There has been additional insulation added between some of the walls for sound proofing.

We will be starting a new project to change the facade of this building to enclose the 2nd floor walk way in the next couple of weeks.

We are in the process of purchasing this 2/3’s of an acre lot in Golf Acres.  We will share elevations and plans shortly.

The Spec Home has been sold and the new owners have moved in.

We have put up the concrete forms and have laid all of the rebar and are ready to have the concrete trucks line up tomorrow.

The grade beam is a reinforced concrete beam that sits on the caissons to spread the load of the building.  This footing gives the grade beam something level to sit on.

The catio’s have also been framed.

The ceiling has been finished along with the lighting and heating ducts.

We are installing a roofing membrane on the parapet wall to protect the commercial building from water penetrating the roof.

We are framing the parapet walls and new store fronts for Teddy Rose and America’s Custom Home Builders.

We have built the walls for the dog kennels for the Adoption Center at C.A.R.E. in Skokie.

We had to drill 12 feet down in the ground, install a lot of rebar and then pour concrete to give the front of the building the necessary support.

The concrete has been patched after the underground plumbing work had been done.

The underground plumbing for the sinks and trench drains around the dog kennels has been started.

We are closing at the end of January.
